Privacy Policy

Punctual is a menu bar utility that counts down to your next calendar event. It is designed to process everything on your Mac.

What Punctual accesses

• Calendar events (with your permission) — read locally via Apple's EventKit to display countdowns, meeting links, and agenda text. Event data never leaves your Mac and is not stored by the app.
• Your location is never used. Punctual does not ask for location access and holds no location entitlement. The map shown for an in-person meeting is looked up from the address in the invite, using Apple's Maps services under Apple's privacy policy.

What Punctual does not do

• No accounts, no sign-in.
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind.
• No data collection, storage, or sharing with the developer or third parties.
• No network connections except Apple's Maps services described above.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Punctual never sees your payment details, and the developer receives no personal information from a purchase beyond Apple's own anonymous sales reporting.

This website

The statements above are about the Punctual app. This website is a separate thing, and it does use analytics — so that the app's privacy claims are not doing double duty, here is exactly what the site does:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics — page views and referrers, measured without cookies and without fingerprinting. No data is collected that could identify you.
• Google Analytics — page views, referrer, approximate region, and clicks on the Mac App Store link. This one does set cookies. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, or with any content blocker.

The website is a static page. There is no login, no form, and nothing that asks you for personal information. None of this reaches the app — installing Punctual does not carry any of it onto your Mac, and the app makes no connection to this site or to any analytics service.
